Trouble is coming to the forest. Something dark that not even StarClan knows. There's something dark in the horizon and its coming towards the Clan sooner than StarClan would like. Could this be the end of the Clans? Or will there be a cat to raise up to save every cat?

Sleetwhisker paced back and forth in the medicine cat's den, careful not to wake his sleeping apprentice, Pinefrost. The medicine cat was troubled, unable to sleep. He couldn't get the omen StarClan had sent him out of his head. It was troubling him. What could it mean?

The gathering storm is nearly past. Soon a dark horizon will dawn, and the forest will run red with blood...

He shuddered at the memory of it. What was this dark horizon that would dawn before the forest? And the blood that would follow it... The gathering storm was another mystery to the tom. What storm was StarClan speaking about? What did Honeytuft mean when she appeared before him with the dark omen? He had already spoken to Foxstar about it and the LeafClan leader was just as worried about it as he was.

Sleetwhisker shook himself as his blue gaze turned to face the stars in Silverpelt, tail twitching as he sat down. Whatever was coming, it meant trouble for all the Clans.

Redkit felt a paw prod her in the side as she laid curled up against the warm body of Rustfur. She heard voices that were begging her to open her eyes so they could go outside and play. Her mother shooed them away, telling the annoying voices that she would open them when she was ready. It only took a few more heartbeats before the tiny she-kit finally opened her eyes. She let out a squeak at the blinding light, shutting them again tightly. She slowly opened one eye and then the other, the blurry world soon turned into solid colors and she saw a crowd of cats looking down at her.
